The College of Law at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium on the legal and ethical ramifications resulting from the use of artificial intelligence applications, in the presence of professors, employees and students of the College of Law.
The symposium aimed to explain the massive digital revolution the world is witnessing, which has resulted in radical transformations on the economic and social levels.
The symposium concluded that there is no unified and disciplined jurisprudential or legislative definition of artificial intelligence or smart robots due to the great diversity of its applications.
The symposium recommended the necessity of establishing a system or ethical charter called the Code of Ethics for Artificial Intelligence.
