A doctoral thesis at the College of Management and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed fuzzy Bayesian estimation of the (Kumaraswamy – Topp – Leone) distribution with application.
The study presented by student Laith Ali Muhammad Al-Hayali aimed to build a fuzzy probability distribution based on the Topp Leone distribution function, which would be more accurate and flexible in modeling real data and arriving at statistical characteristics related to it.
The study concluded that the simulation results showed the superiority of the standard Bayesian method in estimating parameters based on the weighted squared linear loss function (BWLS_10) at small sample sizes (70, n = 20, 40).
The study recommended the use of new types of distributions combined with the function generating the distributions (Topp-Leone) and the formation of a new distribution characterized by high flexibility in representing failure times data.
