The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala hosted the poet and writer Bassem Furat, where it organized a scientific dialogue symposium that falls within the university’s openness to the cultural environment.
During the symposium, Furat spoke about his literary journey in his poetry collections after he read a number of poems that sang of love for the homeland, mother, and child.
The symposium was attended by a number of college teachers and graduate and undergraduate students in the department, and at the conclusion of the symposium he was honored with a certificate of appreciation.
