A doctoral thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed grammatical guidance in the commentaries on the sufficiency printed in the eighth and ninth centuries AH, submitted by researcher Daoud Salman Hussein.
The study was divided into an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter dealt with the grammatical guidance of nouns, while the second chapter dealt with perfect and imperfect verbs, while the third chapter examined single, double, and triple letters.
The study concluded that most of the commentators on Al-Kafiya followed in the footsteps of the Basrans, and their inferences were the product of the ancients.
