The College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with the National Security Service in Karbala Governorate, organized an awareness seminar on drugs, with the participation of the college’s employees and students.
The symposium aimed to educate participants about the danger of narcotic substances, their types, and how to know them, and to urge students to combat the spread of drugs in society.
The symposium, which was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abdel Kazem, included an introduction to drugs and the causes of addiction to them, and an explanation of how to diagnose people who use them through specific signs.
The symposium also touched on the most important laws that apply to addicts and drug dealers.
