The College of Nursing at the University of Karbala organized a symposium on the increase in divorce cases in society, with the participation of a number of researchers.
The symposium aimed to clarify the most important legal articles that regulated divorce in the Iraqi Personal Status Law and to point out the gaps in these texts that contributed to the increase in divorce cases.
The participants in the symposium discussed the reasons for the increase in divorce cases, its impact on family disintegration, and the necessity of finding solutions to this social problem to protect society by amending legal texts and submitting proposals to amend them.
