The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a course to train students on preparing laboratory slides.
The course aimed to train undergraduate students in the Department of Life Sciences on methods of preparing temporary laboratory slides, both animal and plant, and examining them under a microscope to see the components of their cells.
The course included several topics, including giving a theoretical lecture to the students to explain the methods of preparing laboratory slides in a practical way inside the laboratory.
The researchers called for attention to these topics in order to conduct other specialized courses to train them in preparing permanent laboratory slides.
