The importance of the study comes from the importance of education as it is the basic and important pillar in building society, and it affects the social, political and economic structures.

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the imaginative learning strategy on the achievement of second-year intermediate students in social studies.

The study found that teaching using the imaginative learning strategy had the effect of students acquiring many skills, the most important of which are the skill of formulating and asking questions and the skill of convincing the other party to answer.

The study recommended the need to diversify and use modern teaching strategies to teach social studies to middle school students by history teachers.
