A dissertation at the College of Management and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed hippocampal classification using nonparametric core discriminant analysis with a practical application.
The study presented by student Jaafar Ali Farhan aimed to use hippocampal core discriminant analysis in the event of contamination in the data and compare it with traditional core discriminant analysis and linear and quadratic discriminant analysis using the classification error rate criterion to choose the best classification method.
The study concluded that the hippocampal discriminant analysis method achieved superiority over other methods when density functions deviate from the normal distribution with a high percentage of preference.
The study recommended the necessity of using the hippocampal discriminant analysis method in the event that the data deviates from a normal distribution or there are abnormal values within it.
