A doctoral thesis at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed the estimation of the reliability function for some statistical distributions according to neutrosophic logic with a practical application.

The study presented by the student Maryam Mahdi Enad Al-Khazali aimed to propose probability distributions, which are each of (the exponential distribution of the neutrosophic transform, the Rayleigh distribution of the neutrosophic transform, and the Weibull distribution of the neutrosophic transform) using the transformation rule (Transmuted Lower Record Type), which is symbolized by TLRT to obtain more distributions. Flexibility in modeling the original data and converting it into neutrosophic vectors based on the concepts (true, false, indefinite).

The study concluded that relying on the comparison criteria of mean square error (MSE) and mean square integral error (IMSE) demonstrated the superiority of the maximum likelihood method (MLE) as the best method for estimating the reliability function of the neutrosophic variable and the proposed distributions.

The study recommended testing distributions other than life distributions for the purpose of comparison with the results obtained.
