Based on the legal powers granted to it to extend job service for those covered by the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008, amended by those holding the scientific titles of professor and assistant professor, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirms adherence to legal contexts and interpretations in protecting the rights of this important segment in terms of extending services and ensuring their retirement rights.
In this regard, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, is closely following the paths and results of the deliberations with the National Retirement Authority, leading to their presentation before the Council of Ministers in accordance with the requirements of the public interest.
