The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a training course on safe handling of chemicals.
The course aimed to train participants on the importance of safety in chemistry laboratories and its application, how to deal with hazardous and toxic equipment and chemicals, and how to store and handle them.
The course emphasized the necessity of providing laboratory security and safety equipment, including first aid, water sources, and fire-extinguishing tools.
The researcher called for the need to pay attention to such topics in order to focus on chemical safety and hygiene in laboratories.
