The College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala organized a training course on the influence and control of weeds accompanying wheat and barley crops, with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The course aimed to identify the different growing bushes in grain crop fields, their various effects and most important benefits, and to determine ways to control them without affecting production and avoiding their negative effects.
The lecturers stressed the importance of holding scientific courses, seminars and workshops concerned with this field.
