A lecturer at the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Ayed Hamid Hassan, participated in a committee discussing a doctoral thesis in the field of life sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala entitled (Evaluating the preventive role of some nanovitamins in suppressing oxidative stress caused by the drug cimetidine on some reproductive parameters in males. White Rats) by researcher Maitham Ali Karim.
This study presented by the researcher aimed to evaluate the protective role of vitamins C and E and their nanoparticles, and to investigate their role against possible physiological and histological changes in some organs of the male reproductive system of albino rats treated with cimetidine.
The study recommended the necessity of taking advantage of the preventive role of vitamins C and E to reduce the side effects of cimetidine, especially for people who are treated with it.
