In confirmation of our close follow-up of the details resulting from the decision of the National Retirement Authority regarding the retirement rights of professors and assistant professors whose job services were extended based on the legal legislation in force, His Excellency the Prime Minister directed the approval of the content of our letter submitted to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on 4/7/2024, which states: The extension years for this segment are based on actual job service and not work-in-charge service, in implementation of the amended University Service Law No. 23 of 2008.

In this regard, we renew our keenness and commitment to empowering the members of our universities to enjoy their rights stipulated by law and to proceed with integration with the relevant sectoral institutions to achieve the goals of the public interest.
