A master’s thesis at the College of Law at the University of Karbala discussed logical reasoning and its impact on forming the administrative judge’s conviction, submitted by student Hoda Hassan Shalaka.

The study aimed to reveal the rules of logical reasoning and how to exploit them in the work of the administrative judge.

The study concluded that the role of logical reasoning does not stop at understanding the evidence presented to the administrative judge in the case, but rather extends to weighing between evidence of equal probative strength.

The study recommended the need for the Iraqi legislator to issue a law related to administrative procedures that accommodates all evidentiary evidence that is appropriate to the specificity of the administrative case, the procedures for filing a lawsuit, and methods of appeal before the administrative judiciary.
