The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate and congratulated its council on the election of its new president.
In a joint meeting, he stressed the importance of integrating tasks in accordance with applicable legislation, achieving the goals of the educational institution, and strengthening its scientific climate, which is responsible for enhancing institutional performance, empowering university students with the space of attendance and excellence, and ensuring their rights stipulated by law.
He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen to bridge areas of joint work with the Iraqi Academics Syndicate in accordance with a national vision that serves university education and responds to the requirements of the national strategy for education in Iraq and is in line with the Iraqi government’s program and its ministerial curricula.
For its part, the Iraqi Academics Syndicate expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for his interest and keenness to overcome challenges, establish opportunities for success, and translate them into academic programs that enhance the status of Iraqi universities and contribute directly to serving society and achieving sustainable development goals.
