The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the new classroom building at Al-Nahrain University, stressing the progress of addressing lagging projects and developing the academic environment for universities.
The Minister of Education explained at the opening of the new classroom and exhibition hall building that the completion and development of university buildings is an essential part of the path of improving infrastructure and modernizing and developing its environment based on meeting the needs of the educational process and achieving the goals and mission of institutions of higher education and scientific research.
He added that work is continuing in accordance with a vision and policy aimed at improving the quality of education and developing scientific research by modernizing laboratories and classrooms and creating an advanced educational environment that enhances climates for scientific research and innovation in academic fields.
He continued that Iraqi universities are committed to the requirements of the global academic context, which was embodied in the implementation of the Bologna Process and the Study in Iraq program, obtaining international accreditation, competitive ranks in international classifications, and an increase in their competitiveness index with universities in the region and the world.
In this context, the University President, Dr. Ali Al-Shawi, gave a presentation on the completion of the project, while the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the engineering team responsible for supervising and following up on the implementation of the new academic building, which includes 80 diverse halls extending over an area of 8,100 square meters, in addition to the exhibition halls. Spaces and green spaces.
