A doctoral thesis at the College of Law at the University of Karbala discussed the aggravation of texts in civil law, submitted by researcher Israa Jumah Abdel Hussein.
The study aimed to protect society by regulating relations between individuals themselves on the one hand, and between individuals and the state when it appears as ordinary individuals on the other hand.
The study concluded that the law is what regulates social relations between individuals. This regulation must be aimed at stabilizing transactions and legal situations and avoiding all impositions that create competition in the rights of individuals.
The study recommended the need for the Iraqi legislator to remove the conflict between Articles (750) and (751 F 2) of the Civil Code and to follow the approach of the Egyptian legislator in its civil law with regard to its formulation of maintenance and partial destruction.
