The College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala organized a training course on assessing hormone levels using Hormonal Assays devices, with the participation of a group of college employees.
The course, which was lectured by the teacher, Dr. Batoul Louay, aimed to learn about hormonal concentrations, their effect on the human body and related diseases, and how to measure them using special devices.
The course explained the vital processes that occur within the nervous system and the endocrine system, in addition to the way these systems control the human body through nerve impulses.
The course also touched on introducing the endocrine system and the hormones it secretes into the blood, and cases of malfunctions, whether minor or severe, and their impact on the body.
