The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, laid the foundation stone for the new building project attached to the Presidency of the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Baghdad Governorate.
In his speech during the official ceremony, the Minister of Education stressed the importance of close cooperation between the local administrations of the governorates, their administrative councils, and university institutions to achieve the desired level of integration between these executive spaces, indicating that the combination of these national efforts, joint coordination, and work in a single team spirit allows for the effective use of resources and draws a line for the start. Towards results that serve society.
He added that this stage, which is being managed and responsible by the esteemed Iraqi government, carries clear strategic indicators towards developing institutions and improving services according to a procedural vision that leaves no room for wasting time and wasting efforts and achieving a tangible achievement for the citizen, pointing out that joint cooperation gives double momentum to the sustainability of urban projects and embodies institutional integration. It establishes an important milestone in the ambition responsible for stimulating the development and development environment.
The official ceremony included speeches by the Governor of Baghdad, Mr. Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, and the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghaban, and a presentation of the most important completed projects, while the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, opened the university’s presidency building in its new look and stressed that these important projects come in the context of the “Year of Achievements,” which has become the starting point.
