The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, laid the foundation stone for the new building project attached to the Presidency of the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Baghdad Governorate.

In his speech during the official ceremony, the Minister of Education stressed the importance of close cooperation between the local administrations of the governorates, their administrative councils, and university institutions to achieve the desired level of integration between these executive spaces, indicating that the combination of these national efforts, joint coordination, and work in a single team spirit allows for the effective use of resources and draws a line for the start. He added that this stage, which is being managed and responsible by the esteemed Iraqi government, carries clear strategic indicators towards developing institutions and improving services according to a procedural vision that leaves no room for wasting time and wasting efforts and achieving a tangible achievement for the citizen, pointing out that joint cooperation gives double momentum to the sustainability of urban projects and embodies institutional integration.
