The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University organized a training workshop on textile recycling and its contribution to preserving the environment.
The workshop included topics including the concept of recycling, the harmful effects of waste, and ways to treat this waste of fabrics and use them in recycling.
The workshop aims to pay attention to the issue of recycling because of its positive aesthetic and economic impact on society.
Some practical models of recycled fabrics were presented, as well as some ideas that help transform waste fabrics into useful profitable projects.
It is noteworthy that the Women’s Affairs Department has directed the establishment of events and activities concerned with women because of the latter’s active importance in society.
