The College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala organized a training course on managing disasters and environmental crises and reducing their risks, in which Dr. Ali Balash Jabr lectured.
The training course aimed to learn about predicting environmental disasters and how to prevent and reduce them, as well as the procedures that must be followed when a crisis or disaster occurs.
The training course included defining disasters and crises, their classification, their causes, how to detect them, and methods of preventing and treating them.
