The College of Engineering at the University of Karbala organized a training course on prosthetic solutions for amputation and rehabilitation levels.
The course, which lasted for three days, aimed to inform the staff of the Limbs and Supports Engineering Department about the latest scientific findings in the field of appropriate medical solutions for amputation patients, discuss amputation levels, and clarify the role of the limbs and artificial supports engineer in the rehabilitation process for patients.
Assistant Professor Dr. Durgham Abdel Rahim, Assistant Lecturer Hussein Abbas Fadel, and Assistant Lecturer Farqad Abdel Jawad Abdel Hassan lectured in the course.
The course recommended the need to follow up on various developments in the field of training and qualification of students and engineers specialized in the field of artificial limbs and supports.
