Karbala University’s College of Dentistry participated in the International Conference of the General Syndicate of Dentists of Egypt EDSIC-2024, which took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in City Stars, Nasr City, Cairo from September 4, 2024, to September 6, 2024.
The participation included a lecture by the Dean of the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al-Tameh, titled “Controversial orthodontic treatment philosophies; arch form maintenance, development, or expansion,” focusing on the latest techniques in fixed orthodontics, along with presentations of complex clinical cases and their treatment.
It is worth noting that the conference is held annually in Cairo and features a selection of speakers from Egypt, Arab countries, and around the world presenting lectures and workshops, in addition to an exhibition accompanying the conference that includes most of the major companies in the field of dental supplies and equipment.
