Student Zahraa Haider Adnan from the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala participated in the events of the University Festival of Fine Arts for male and female students, which was organized by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held at the Middle Euphrates Technical University in the holy province of Najaf from December 1 to 5, 2024.
The festival aims to enhance artistic and cultural values among students and encourage them to develop their creative skills, create a platform to showcase their artistic works, and interact with other artists to gain experiences in the field of fine arts.
Student Zahraa Haider Adnan showcased a distinctive collection of diverse artworks at the festival, which included realistic and abstract paintings and portraits, reflecting themes of natural landscapes and Iraqi heritage, utilizing various types of colors, such as oil and pencil.
This participation highlights the presence of the University of Karbala in various cultural and artistic forums, as the festival witnessed strong competition with the participation of over 50 Iraqi governmental and private universities and colleges, attended by prominent academic figures.
