The Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Dentistry, Karbala University, held a training workshop titled (The Concept of E-Commerce and Electronic Marketing) as part of the events of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The workshop was led by Assistant Lecturer Anwar Abdul-Hussein Aboud in the conference hall, and attended by a group of faculty members and students from the college.
The workshop aimed to clarify the importance of e-commerce and electronic marketing, their prevalence, and the role of smart devices and the internet in them, in addition to explaining the types, advantages, and disadvantages of e-commerce and electronic marketing.
The training workshop included introducing the attendees to the concept of e-commerce and electronic marketing, its stages of emergence and development, as well as its benefits and drawbacks, as well as how to address the most common problems and obstacles that hinder the development of e-commerce and electronic marketing.
