Karbala University College of Dentistry organized a course titled “Teaching Excel 2016” in the computer lab, which lasted for three days. The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Anwar Abdul Hussain Aboud, in the presence of a group of faculty members and staff of the college.
The course aimed to enable college members to work with the program and benefit from it in the administrative tasks of the college staff, as well as for instructors to work on certain statistical functions related to scientific research and how to handle statistical data.
The course included introducing participants to the components of the program’s main interface, how to save, create, copy, and delete worksheets, insert and delete columns and rows in Excel, as well as how to use functions such as sum, average, maximum, and minimum. Additionally, it covered creating and formatting tables and creating charts.
