As part of the “Study in Iraq” program launched by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance academic exchange and international cooperation, and under the direct supervision of the college’s administration, the College of Dentistry at Karbala University received the student Abu Bakr Idris from the Republic of Sudan.
The committee for receiving international students, affiliated with the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Unit of the College of Dentistry and headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Arkan Majhul, welcomed the accepted international student from Baghdad International Airport as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative for the 2024-2025 academic year. He was accommodated in the university’s dormitories and completed the registration procedures at the college.
It is worth noting that Abu Bakr Idris is the third international student welcomed by the college under this initiative. This step represents a qualitative leap in strengthening scientific and cultural relations between Iraq and other countries, as it contributes to enhancing academic ties and exchanging experiences among students from both inside and outside Iraq.
