A group of faculty members, staff, and students from the College of Dentistry at Karbala University participated in the annual scouting trip organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences to Lake Razzaza last Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
The trip aims to enhance scouting skills, foster cooperation and discipline among students, deepen brotherhood ties, instill positive values in the youth to protect the environment, and promote physical fitness among participants, as well as to encourage a spirit of volunteerism.
The scouting trip included many activities, such as organizing a competition among scouting teams from various colleges that involved tracking and finding trails marked in advance by the scouting team. The trip also included various endurance scouting practices and volunteer work to preserve the environment, along with a wide cleaning campaign for the shores of Lake Razzaza.
It is worth noting that the trip witnessed the participation of more than 500 students and faculty members, representing 12 colleges from Kerbala University, in addition to University of Ahl al-Bayt and AlSafwa University College, reflecting academic cooperation and a spirit of teamwork among educational institutions.
