The College of Dentistry at the University of Kerbala participated in the central graduation ceremony of the Abbasid holy shrine (The batch number Eighth of AL-kafeel girls) for this academic year, which kicked off on the morning of Friday, February 21, 2025, in the corridors of the Abbasid holy shrine with the participation of more than four thousand female students from various Iraqi provinces and Islamic countries, organized and supervised by the Women’s Religious Schools Department of Kafeel.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the graduation oath of loyalty and trust to serve the nation in front of the shrine of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). The eighth Kafeel girls’ ceremony, held under the slogan: “From the light of Fatima (peace be upon her) we illuminate the world,” is one of the largest festivals in Iraq, through which the Abbasid holy shrine aims to provide moral motivation for the graduating students and their launch into practical life from the sanctuary of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
