A faculty member from the College of Dentistry has been appointed as the head of the University of Kerbala delegation in the Iraqi Universities Tennis Championship.

Assistant Lecturer Barakat Muhammad Ali Zaini from the College of Dentistry at the University of Kerbala has been chosen as the head of the University of Karbala delegation in the Iraqi Universities Tennis Championship (for male and female students) held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, with the participation of more than 60 public and private universities from various parts of Iraq.

The University of Karbala tennis team (male and female students) achieved a remarkable accomplishment by qualifying for the quarter-finals in the Iraqi Universities Tennis Championship, after winning against the University of Al-Mustaqbal team for male students and the Al-Ma’mun University team for female students.

The University of Karbala is represented by a distinguished team that aims to achieve advanced results in this championship, which is an opportunity to enhance the spirit of competition among students and develop their skills in tennis, in addition to strengthening the university’s position in national sports events.
