A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed the balance between the words of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the words of the Arabs in the book Al-Taraz by Yahya bin Hamza bin Ali Al-Alawi (749 AH) by the student (Hassan Musa Kazem), in the presence of the university’s president, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saeedi and the dean. College Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid.
The study included three chapters, accompanied by a conclusion with the most important results reached by the research, then followed by a glossary of sources and references approved in the research.
The study concluded that “Al-Alawi has a keen insight into the words of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and knows his rhetorical methods extensively, in addition to revealing their compositional and artistic aesthetics.”
