The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized an awareness seminar on domestic violence in conjunction with the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women, in the presence of the Dean of the College, a number of teachers, employees, fifth-year students, and a delegation from the General Veterinary Hospital in Karbala Governorate.
Present at the symposium was certified trainer Ali Hussein Al-Saadawi, head of the mental health unit in the Hindi sector.
The symposium, which was held under the title (For Her), aims to introduce the types of violence to which women are exposed in our society.
It is worth noting that the phenomenon of violence against women is a global phenomenon whose frequency has increased in recent years in light of security instability and conflicts in many countries.
