The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized a training course on extracting DNA from blood in cooperation with the Veterinary Public Health Branch, with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The course, which was lectured by Professor Dr. Ali Reda Abdel, Professor Dr. Kazem Saleh Kazem, and Professor Faris Sahib Imran, aims to identify the DNA extraction technique and how to preserve samples prepared for extraction.
It is worth noting that DNA is the part that contains the genetic information necessary for the functioning, reproduction and development of organisms.
