The educational medical clinics at the College of Dentistry continue to operate throughout the week from Saturday to Thursday during daily working hours from 8:30 in the morning until 2:30 in the evening, except for official holidays. The therapeutic medical services provided to citizens include the following: Ordinary tooth extraction Surgical, regular and optical dental fillings, teeth cleaning, orthodontics, fixed and removable dentures, in addition to various aspects of pediatric dentistry.
Providing various medical services through educational medical clinics is one of the main goals of establishing the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, and it is one of the most important aspects of education in the college for both teachers and students. The educational medical clinics are concerned with the clinical aspect of students in the fourth and fifth stages, and at the same time provide medical services to all Citizens at nominal prices in the field of dental treatment. This greatly alleviates the burden of the Karbalai citizen and is an important step towards reducing the financial burden on families with limited income, in addition to spreading the health culture in the field of oral and dental medicine to the community.
