A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed the spatial disparity of orphans in the holy governorate of Karbala.
The study presented by Ahmed Jalil Kazem aimed to identify the extent of the orphanage phenomenon in Karbala Governorate, and to know the geographical distribution of orphans in the governorate.
The study concluded that there is a difference in the number of orphans in Karbala Governorate from one administrative unit to another.
