A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala discussed the attempts to secede from the United States of America 1789-1861.
The study presented by student Hassan Adnan Hassan Ali included four chapters and a conclusion that dealt with the attempt to secede some states in the United States of America.
The study aimed to identify one of the most important challenges that accompanied the emergence of the United States of America.
The study concluded that the United States of America’s retention of many powers in accordance with the Constitution enabled it to compare those powers with the corresponding powers of the federal administration, which resulted in a clear conflict between the states and the federal administration in various fields.
