The College of Engineering at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with the College’s Continuing Education Center, organized a training course on the safety of the Arabic language in administrative correspondence, with the participation of a group of professors, employees, and students.
The course, which was lectured by assistant teacher Duha Thamer, aimed to address spelling, stylistic and linguistic errors and limit the use of colloquial terms in official correspondence.
The three-day course focused on addressing spelling, stylistic and linguistic errors contained in official correspondence and teaching participants how to write official books, in addition to pointing out the incorrect use of many words and addressing ignorance of the rules of grammar and morphology.
