A lecturer at the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala, Dr. Haider Naji, participated in writing part of a book about the Christian religion in Iraq.

The book, which was issued by the French Institute for the Near East (IFPO), was titled “Christianity in Iraq at the Beginning of Islam: History and Antiquities,” and the participation of the teacher, Haider Naji, was to write a research on the Tsar’s Church in Karbala.
The research prepared by Dr. Haider Naji in cooperation with the French archaeological researcher Dr. Julie Bonric was entitled (New hypotheses about the Luxor settlement in Karbala – Did a monastic group live in the monastery?).
The book, which sheds light on an important era in Iraq’s history, was co-written by a group of researchers specialized in archaeology, architecture, sociology, and history from inside and outside Iraq.
