The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced the launch of professional higher diploma programs in specializations related to combating corruption, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission.
This came during the joint ceremony held by the Iraqi Anti-Corruption Academy, where he explained that this path embodies institutional integration with the Federal Integrity Commission, achieves its goals, and enhances spaces for joint scientific work that diagnoses the phenomena and risks emanating from the environment of corruption and provides climates of mutual benefit between the two institutions, which are distinguished by their direct qualitative impact on Community life.
He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is continuing and interested in implementing the obligations of the academic institution in developing areas of joint scientific research, especially academic programs that would produce solutions and perceptions responsible for fighting corruption and diagnosing its hidden sources through what the lens of scientific research and specialized studies provides in terms of revelations, treatments and approaches that make a direct contribution. In promoting the values of integrity and combating hotbeds of corruption in light of the requirements of the National Strategy for Integrity and Anti-Corruption.
For his part, the President of the Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, praised the support provided by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and his approval to launch professional higher diploma programs in specializations related to anti-corruption, and his keenness to develop areas of partnership and institutional integration, while the Director General of the Iraqi Academy for Anti-Corruption, Dr. Mazhar Turki Abdul Development and training programs and areas of cooperation with Iraqi universities.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research toured the corridors of the Iraqi Anti-Corruption Academy and viewed its training environment, while he visited the Department of Education and Public Relations at the Integrity Commission. He stressed that the educational institution is looking forward to strengthening this partnership that will enhance the chances of success and achieve the ambition to build the nation and protect the future of its children.
