The Department of Administrative Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Karbala organized a scientific workshop to explain the instructions for academic promotions and to know the integrity of journals and research bodies.
The workshop included a comprehensive review of the Scientific Promotions Instructions (176) for the year 2017, as well as a presentation of the most important circulars issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research related to scientific promotions.
The lecturers touched on the mechanism for choosing a solid journal and publishing house before starting to publish the research to avoid falling prey to predatory and commercial journals, as well as providing a detailed explanation of the first two tables related to scientific research, and the second related to activities and the approved statement and others.
