Yesterday, Sunday, January 21, 2024, a delegation from the Karbala Health Department visited the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala. The delegation was headed by Dr. Sabah Al-Mousawi, Director General of the Department, along with the Director of the Technical Affairs Department in the Department, Dr. Amjad Saleh, and the Director of the Medical Devices Division in the Technical Affairs Department, Eng. Ahmed Zahid and medical device engineers at the Specialized Dental Center.
The visit aims to discuss and strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation between the College of Dentistry and the Karbala Health Department. During the meeting, ideas and visions were exchanged to enhance and develop the prospects for cooperation between the Department and the Deanship of the College, in addition to discussing the maintenance of medical equipment, especially dental chairs.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al Toama, welcomed this visit, stressing the necessity of joint cooperation between the College and the Department of Health in a way that contributes to improving the health and educational sectors in the governorate, especially the college’s great importance in providing health institutions in Karbala with qualified medical staff of doctors. the teeth.
