The College of Nursing at the University of Karbala organized a training course on the effect of lead on hormones, with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists and in the presence of a group of faculty and staff.
The three-day course aimed to introduce participants to hormones and their role in maintaining body stability.
The course was attended by Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Karim, Assistant Lecturer Sarah Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Jaber.
The participants discussed the factors affecting the hormone, including toxins and physical factors such as lead and its effect on the kidneys and nervous systems in both children and adults.
