The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a lecture on the challenges facing women athletes, with the participation of a group of female faculty members from the college.
The lecture was presented by Professor Dr. Nahida Abd Zaid from the University of Babylon and Assistant Professor Dr. Nidal Obaid Hamza, University of Karbala, with the aim of empowering women to participate in sports tournaments and build their personality away from society’s view.
The organizers recommended the need to emphasize the active participation of women in women’s sports forums.
