The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala discussed with its counterpart at the Iranian Ferdowsi University ways of scientific cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.

The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi, stated during her reception with Dr. Mohsen Maliki, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Ferdowsi University, and his accompanying delegation, that the college seeks to upgrade its work and implement its plan to enhance scientific and academic cooperation with foreign universities.

Al-Bazi added, “Cooperation will include the exchange of professors between the two sides, joint supervision of graduate students’ projects, discussion of graduate theses, and the possibility of activating programs for hosting summer training students.”

The Ferdowsi University delegation was briefed on the college’s scientific laboratories, study halls, and the electron microscope unit, in addition to attending one of the surgical operations in the animal field unit.
