The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the ministerial committee responsible for preparations for the launch of the second edition of the Study in Iraq program for the year 2024/2025.
During the meeting, the Minister of Education listened to a comprehensive explanation of the program of the previous version for the year 2023/2024, which attracted one thousand and fifteen international students who enrolled in studies in Iraqi universities in various specializations at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
The Minister of Education praised the indicators of success achieved in this file, which will enhance the academic reputation of Iraqi universities and give positive momentum in terms of competition in international classifications, pointing at the same time to the importance of attracting international students and enhancing the path of integration between the ministry’s departments and its university institutions in managing the new version of the Study in Iraq program, which It will be ready for launch next March.
