The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored researchers and innovators participating in the Spring Festival of Science, Innovation, Arts and Sports held by Wasit University.
In his special speech on the occasion, the Minister of Education stated that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasizes the support of innovators and creators and the provision of an appropriate educational environment that is based on advanced scientific modernization, business incubators and academic programs that are commensurate with their creative abilities, indicating that the interaction climates that the university provides in the fields of science, innovations and the arts Sports contributes to the development of the educational environment and helps students to be prepared for the labor market sectors as part of productive universities.
He urged the promotion of distinguished research work that leads to transforming innovative and distinguished ideas into successful applied projects with a direct impact in line with the strategy of higher education for the coming years, which stems from supporting innovators, the philosophy of development and the appropriate employment of material, human and technical capabilities.
He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working to create the necessary climates for review, evaluation and response to development requirements, foremost of which is updating and revising curricula according to market requirements and knowledge variables.
In his speech during the ceremony, the President of Wasit University, Dr. Mazen Al-Hassani, said that the follow-up and interest shown by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, was an important incentive towards the development and modernization required by the university environment.
