The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, and the deans of the colleges congratulated the President and members of the Karbala Governorate Council on the occasion of assuming duties, as the visit comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the university and the legislative authority.
Dr. Bassem Al-Saeedi said during the visit that the university was and continues to be supportive of the governorate’s projects, and will be supportive of the Council’s actions aimed at serving Karbala.
Al-Saidi stressed that the university, with its academic and scientific staff, will stand with the local government to improve infrastructure, in order to present the city with the status it deserves.
For his part, the Chairman of the Council, Dr. Qasim Al-Yasari, stated that the Council needs the support of the University of Karbala. Because of its scientific energies and professional staff that contribute to changing the reality of the city, especially since it is the first advisory body that contributes to planning projects.
The President of the Council and its members praised the efforts of the University President to improve the university environment by providing green spaces and infrastructure, in addition to paying attention to the scientific aspects, stressing at the same time the Council’s support for everything that develops the academic aspect.
