The College of Science at the University of Karbala organized a training course on the microorganisms that cause food poisoning.
The course aimed to introduce participants to the most important causes of food poisoning, including microorganisms such as bacteria, parasites and fungi, and the most important symptoms resulting from food poisoning, as well as identifying the most important vectors of pathogens.
The course topics included explaining the disease symptoms that the patient feels within hours depending on the pathogen of food poisoning and its effect on the nervous system, as well as introducing the parasites that cause poisoning and ways to prevent it.
